It was pretty dark when I visited my friend Rosa, this week, so could only take some pretty bad shots of her very endearing oil paintings. All framed by her late husband. Her house is covered in them, all painted at a tiny desk in her spare room. Its a great journey through her childhood in Italy, family life and quite a few renditions of Christ in various scenarios. They come in visions.
Been hanging for another Saskia Leek show back in Oz. On now at Darren Knight Gallery
I always enjoy getting up close to Nadine Christensen works, and theres plenty to explore at her new Station Gallery show opening today.
